# What is the max supply of Chronic Yield?

Chronic Yield does not have a maximum supply at the time of writing. It is an inflationary token by design, enabling us to incentivize liquidity provisions by our user base and maintain a functional decentralized exchange. Aggressive deflationary mechanisms will aid in curbing the supply of **$CHY** and maintain the overall value.
